It struck me listening to this song in the morning how it builds, both panicking and soothing the listener. It's possible to have multiple perspectives in the song, but I feel that, as with most Phoebe Bridgers songs, it has the feeling of examining a memory. Whether that's turning over a memory in a negative or positive light depends on the listener as well. Many of these songs feel like items pulled and rinsed off from the waters of memory, whether they be dreams or memories, examined over with numerous emotions.
