The Seventies Redux

Ironic.
As I build up reviews for my quintessential eighties book Presence, the book I'm still most obsessed with is the one (which currently has a one-and-a-half star rating on Goodreads) all about the Seventies. Well, Salem to Salem is about the Sixties and the Seventies. It's about trying to recreate a utopia at the expense of the people who live there. Much of our modern discourse is about trying to recreate the Sixties and the Seventies. Thing is, though, after the Eighties, things can't be turned back. The Eighties destroyed the Sixties and the Seventies in such a way, they can never happen again. That's why Presence is about; that cataclysmic moment where things change so drastically, they can never be the same again.
