Thoughts on Trump’s re-election

There have been plenty of bad and good takes since Trump was re-elected, and I don’t want to be this post to join the bad takes. For if I had a crystal ball, the people arguing that “our country wasn’t good enough” or “America is just too racist”, are conceding the next election in 2028. Democrats need to offer real, substantial policies to the electorate instead of empty hymms to political correctness. Universal healthcare. Free childcare. A raise on the minimum wage. This the stuff that wins elections.

It’s easy to look at millions of people you don’t know and describe them as racist and sexist. But good, substantial policies help everyone. And bad policies hurt everyone.
